House. Late C16 incorporating some earlier fragments, with a major extension of the 1830s; restored in the 1970s. Timber framed with a brick extension rendered and lined as ashlar; plain tile roof, hipped to the right, and slate roofed extension; brick ridge stacks. C16 L-shaped plan; principal range aligned east-west facing south and rear wing to the west aligned north-south; 1830s wing to the east aligned north-south. C16 main house to the left, gabled 1830s wing to the right. Main house: two storeys and gable-lit attic with continuous first floor jetty and jettied attic gables; uninterrupted close studding to all floors. Two bays, C20 wood mullioned windows on cyma reversa brackets, small four-pane casements to first floor centre. Central four-panel door within original frame with gabled wrought iron porch, approached by a flight of brick steps; a curved tension brace extends from the right-hand side of the door frame to the sill beam. Extension wing: two storeys; one bay glazing bar sashes.
