5/70 Milton Green Farmhouse

Farmhouse: early C19. Flemish bond orange brick with yellow headers,
Welsh slate roof and 2 gable brick chimneys. Double-pile plan.
2-storey, symmetrical, 3-bay front. Stone plinth and moulded stone
cornice with coped blocking course above. End bays have 12-pane
sashes under flat wedged stone heads. Central bay has simple,
semi-circular headed doorcase, fanlight with radial glazing bars and a
6-panelled door.
Interior: simple but unaltered. Bracketted stair with plain iron
balusters and mahogany handrail. Panelled doors and later C19
fireplaces.
