5/109 The Mount.
GV II
House: c1850. Stuccoed brick, Welsh slate roof, and 1 brick gable
chimney. Square in plan. 3-storey, symmetrical 3-bay front. Plain
end pilasters and windows in slight projections. Across front is a
heavy wooden verandah with lean-to roof and reeded piers. End bays
have flat stone heads with raised key blocks. Lowest openings have
pairs of glazed doors, 4-pane sashes above. Central bay under simple
triangular pediment has similar windows and plain semi-circular head
to a half-glazed door and a plain fanlight.
