Terraced town house. 1893-94 rebuild by F.M. Elgood. Red brick with
stone dressings; tiled roof. Free Style Renaissance. 4 storeys and
dormered mansard, on basement. 3 windows wide. Channelled ground floor
has semicircular arched, keystoned doorway to left, in Ionic columned open
pedimented doorcase; canted bay window of 3 sash lights to right finished
off with ornamental iron balustrade. 1st floor has 5-light of extended
Venetian composition window articulated by Tuscan columns with keystoned
archivolt arched centre light and narrow brick panels at each side of
arch. 3 recessed sashes on 2nd and 3rd floors under flat gauged arches
with keystones and aprons to sills. Plat band over ground floor; quoins
flanking upper floors; 2nd floor sill course; enriched crowning cornice.
Segmental pedimented dormers. Cast iron area railings.
