Formerly The New Inn; C18 with altered street facade and timber-framed rear wing C16. Rendered brick steeply pitched slate roof with shallow gable parapet. Three storeys with carriageway to left hand. Four bays. Rusticated quoins and jambs to all windows. Four-paned casement windows at second floor, and twelve-paned hung sash windows at first floor. Modern shop and renovated basement. Exposed timber-frame to rear wing with tie-beams in interior.
