Farmhouse and adjacent range of farmbuildings circa 1721
(Weathercock), originally stables to Carden Hall altered 1828 and
subsequently converted to a farmstead. White painted brick with stone
dressings and patches; grey slate roof. 2-storey buildings on north
side of a courtyard; the house forms the part of the range west of a
blocked central coach-house camber archway with oak beam over on north
face. It has small-pane wood windows probably inserted C19, ad hoc,
in a formerly symmetrical building with projecting central gable (with
clock dated 1828) carrying a belfry cupola of oak with lead roof; one
bell. Weathercock (probably restored) on gable with I (for John),
0 (?), L (for Leche) 1721.
