C18 block backing on to the Running Horses Inn in the London Road. 2 storeys
and attic. 4 windows and 1 bricked up window and 2 dormers facing north, 8
windows and 2 gabled dormers facing west. Red brick and grey headers.
Stringcourse. The west front has a parapet. Narrow windows with segmental
heads and glazing bars intact. James Mill lived for a time in a house at
the back of the Running Horses Inn and it was possibly one of these.
