3 houses. Circa 1863 by S.S. Teulon for Rev. Daniel Capper. Snecked sandstone
of various colours with ashlar quoins and dressings; roof of grey slates; right
extension using similar materials. One storey, 5 bays with pent one-storey
extension on rear of left return; C20 right addition of 2 storeys, one set-back
bay. C20 wood and glass porches at left end and in third bay. Windows are
renewed casements except in The Cottage at right which has 3-light and one-
light ground-floor windows with glazing bars, 2-light half-dormer above; all
windows in flush stone surrounds with alternate-block jambs. Small window above
central porch. Wide gables over outer bays and small gables over second and
fourth, all containing 2-light half dormers. Steeply-pitched roof has 2 ridge
chimneys, one transverse. Right extension has garage door below 3-light casement
with glazing bars.
