Farmhouse. Mid C18 with early C19 alterations. Cement rendered brick to front
range, red brick to rear wing. Plain-tile roof with brick and rendered brick end
stacks. T-plan with wing to rear. 2 storeys and attic. 3-window range of a 20-pane
sash window either side a 16-pane sash. Central moulded wooden doorcase with open
pediment, 6-panel door and 5-pane fanlight. 20-pane sash to left and tripartite
sash to right under bracketed cornice. Storey bands. On right end a 1st floor window
and attic casement. On rear wing a further doorway, single-storey extension, and
sashes and casements with glazing bars. Interior: cased beams, 6-panel and 4-panel
doors, C19 fireplaces and cast-iron grates, stick baluster staircase from ground
to 1st floor and mid C18 staircase with turned balusters from 1st floor to attic.
Dairy with thrawl. Probably original roof purlins.
