2/135 The Manor and attached
coach house

House, attached to coach-house and cottages. c.1800. Rubble-stone walls and
dressed stone quoins. Brick dressings to windows. Thatch roof with stone
gable-copings. Rebuilt C20 brick stacks. 2 storeys. 3 windows, sashes with
thin glazing-bars, 16 panes, and 12 pane sash over front door. Front entrance
at centre, two-leaf door to porch. Rear wing, C19, sashes with glazing-bars.
Attached Coach-House on north gable-end. Early C19. Rubble-stone walls. Salte
roof. Entrance on opposite side to that of house, ie on west face. Carriage
entrance has wide elliptical arch in brick with 2-leaf blank doors. Upper floor
converted to flat, has re-used 3-light stone mullions with lead lights. The
Lodge attached at north end is not of special interest.
