Mid C19. Hammer-dressed stone. Pitched slate roof. Coped gables on cut kneelers
ornamented with gablets. 2 storeys. Symmetrical composition. Central ranges
are gabled and have ground floor canted bays with bands of foliage sculpture
around imposts, shaped heads to sashes and moulded cornices. 2-light 1st floor
pointed sashes separated by detached colonnettes with foliate capitals: inscribed
quatrefoils above, and pointed hoodmoulds over all: inscribed quatrefoils with
hoodmould in gable ends. Outer ranges have trefoil-headed sashes on 1st floor,
and doors with trefoil-headed fanlights behind timber porches with chamfered
posts, gabled roofs and trefoiled arches.
