GV II

Barn and integral cottage. Late C17. Coursed ironstone rubble. Steeply pitched
tile roof. Brick ridge stack on left. Single-unit cottage on left of 2 storeys
and single-window range. 2-bay barn part on right. Cottage has 2-light wood
casement windows to both ground and first floors with chamfered wood lintels.
Entrance to dwelling on left gable end has wood door frame. Stone-coped gable on
left. Interior has brick fireplace and housing for copper. Barn has purlin roof
with tie beams, collars and renewed common rafters. Thatched barn. Early C18.
Coursed ironstone rubble steeply pitched thatched roof. 5 bays. Wide threshing
floor entrance third bay from left. Plank doors wood lintels. Rear doors have
securing pole and cratch boards. Stone flag floor. Principal rafter roof with
collars, tie beams, common rafters and stays.
