House. Late C17 with C18 dormers. Squared coursed ironstone. Steeply pitched
slate roof. Stone-coped gables with moulded kneelers. Stone end stacks with
renewed brick shafts. One-unit plan. 2 storeys plus attic. C20 entrance to left
with overlight. Ground floor has a 5-light stone mullioned window with hood
mould and label stop. First floor has outshot to rear. Noted as a tall parlour
block addition attached to its adjoining humbler structure. (Wood-Jones).
Interior not inspected.
