House, mid C17. 3-cell lobby-entrance plan; the parlour block a short cross-
wing. 1 1/2 storeys and attics. Timber-framed and rendered with some
herringbone pargetting in panels. Thatched roof with eyebrow casement dormer;
octagonal chimneys, c.1970, of red brick. Mid C20 casements and boarded and
battened entrance door. c.17 open fireplaces to hall and parlour. Clasped
purlin roof; the main range reuses a set of rafters from a house with an open
hearth, possibly on this site.
