Cottage. Late C17. Mostly timber framed, rendered, with rubblestone to left
hand wall. Long straw and reed thatched roof, half hipped. Ridge stack of
early C18 narrow brick. L-plan. One storey and attic. Two later gable
dormers. Doorway to left hand, with four raised and fielded and two flush
panels. Kitchen wing at rear. Thatched, timber framed. Inside: Stop
chamfered main beams. Abutting inglenooks, one blocked. Raised and fielded
panel doors and side purlin roof. Straight upward tracery from posts to tie
beam.
