Substantial house, home of the Leigh family. Chimney has initials L W
T and date 1771. Some alterations. 2 storeys Beer stone, the south front
stuccoed. Double pitch gable end slate roofs, the gables with saddlestones
and shaped kneelers. Good brick chimneys with stone quoins and caps.
Moulded stone cornice. 5 windows symmetrically arranged round central
entrance, the ground floor raised on plinth. Recessed sashes, glazing
bars intact, Venetian staircase window with keystone. A flight of steps
leads up to altered porch, glazed door with 2 flush panels.
