Paid for by Sir John Robinson. Rockfaced and plain ashlar.
Chamfered coping. Spiked iron railing. C-plan. Approx. 100 x
50 M. Ornate pedimented central qateway has 2 flanking piers
with square domed capitals and finials. Frieze inscribed
'Daybrook Alms Houses. These houses were erected by Sir John
Robinson in memory of his son Sir John Sandford Robinson who died
April 21st 1898.' Central pair of iron gates flanked by single
wickets. 6 square piers with stepped square domed caps.
