Row of 5 cottages now in 4 occupations dated 1810, Nos. 1 and 2 slightly later.
Hammer-dressed stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. 5-single cells, double
depth. Each has to south front doorway with tie-stone jambs and 3-light flat
faced mullioned window to each floor. Nos. 3 and 4 probably were of 6 lights
originally. No. 4 has doorway with monolithic jambs and lintel inscribed
" H 1810 C ". Rear has quoins between Nos. 2 and 3 at first floor. 2-light,
3-light and 4-light windows and doorways with monolithic jambs. 4 stacks to
ridge. The interior of No. 4 has large chamfered spine beams and fireplace with
basket-arched lintel carried on corbelled jambs.
