Semi-detached cottage. Possibly C15/C16 origins with C18/C19 work. Ham stone cut and squared, but north gable of cob
faced with brick; roof partly clay tiled, between abutments, and thatched with plain gable to front and half hip to
north; brick chimney stack with traditional baffle. Two storeys, 3 bays; timber casements of 3 lights to upper bays 1
and 2, with boarded door to lower bay 2 in open timber porch with corrugated iron roof; bay 3 is a projecting gable,
with a 2-light hollow chamfer mullioned window under square label below, and small 3-light leaded casement under timber
lintol above. Interior not seen, but reported is a cross passage central entry plan with two rooms; three deep flat
chamfer beams with step and runout stops, a wattle and daub partition and indications of post and truss roof
construction. Unoccupied and in poor state it time of resurvey (June 1985). (SSAVBRG Report unpublished SRO, 1979).
