Public house. Probably C17 origins, mainly mid C18 and mid C19. Regular coursed
limestone with Collyweston slate roof. Originally 2-unit plan. 2 storeys.
2-window range of C19 casements, under wood lintels, at ground floor. First
floor window to centre is under Lincolnshire eaves dormer. Central C19
part-glazed door under C20 hood. Cellar door to right. Remains of raised plinth.
Ashlar gable parapets to right. Brick and stone stacks at ends. Mid/late C18
outbuilding with pantile roof is attached to right, with blank wall to road.
Right gable has evidence of raising to rear side. C19 lean-to extension to rear.
Interior has remains of open fireplace with bressumer.
