Pair of cottages. Probably C18 with early C19 alterations. Coursed limestone
rubble with ashlar dressings; clay tile roof with coped verges; brick integral
end stacks. 2 single cell cottages. 2 storeys and gable-lit attic; 2 windows;
2-light flat faced mullioned windows containing casements, those to ground
floor have straight dripstones, that to first floor left has lost its mullion;
doors to left of centre and right, both with straight dripstones; a change in
the masonry - approximately 18" above the heads of the first floor windows
suggests that the eaves level may have been raised, probably in the early C19.
Chamfered mullioned attic window to South gable.
