Terrace house, c.1706, probably refronted c.1800. Stock brick, concealed roof. Four storeys. Three windows wide. Mid C20 shop front and refacing of ground floor, doorway to left. Upper floors have recessed sash windows, glazing bars intact to second and third floors, under flat gauged arches. Parapet with coping. Rainwater head dated 1706 on party line with rebuilt No.14. G.L.C. plaque commemorating the residence of the poet Shelley.
Interior retains remains of passage-hall panelling and narrow open stair-case well, cut string stairs with ramped handrail.
