Early C19 3-bay, 1-storey building, end on to road. Stock brick with low pitched
hipped slate roof. Arcaded south side with stuccoed impost band and stone cills.
Wide, round-arched western window: the others sash windows with glazing bars under
flat gauged brick arches.

Nos 158 to 162 (even) form a group with the stable and wall to No 162, and
Bishop Wood's Almshouses.
