Farmhouse. C17, altered and enlarged. Coursed squared sandstone (part rendered), stone slate roof. T-shaped plan formed by two-unit main range on east-west axis with single-unit rear wing on north side. Two-storey and attic; moulded plinth, moulded dripbands on two levels, the lower stepped; ground floor rendered and openings altered, but remains of mullioned window visible to right of inserted central doorway; four square recessed windows at first floor, all formerly cross-windows but glazing altered; dripband over these windows, and wall raised by four courses, left (west) return wall rendered, a coupled twelve-pane fixed window on each floor. Right hand return wall has coupled windows at ground floor, formerly transomed window at first floor (altered), and small attic window. Rear wall has cut-down external chimney stack between main range and C19 addition, which has chamfered plinth, first floor band(carried round from main range), doorway to right, coupled cross windows to left, and large three-light casement at first floor replacing formerly similar window.

Interior: former rear wall of main range has large Tudor-arched doorway with chamfered surround and massive studded door; first bay said to contain very large stone arched fireplace and beams (now all concealed); second bay has cross-corner fireplaces on both floors, that in the upper room with large moulded plaster overmantel containing a square cartouche surrounded by raised pomegranates, all within an architrave with Ionic pilasters and dentilled cornice.
