Symmetrical terrace of pseudo-detached and semi-detached houses. 1847-51. John
Barnett. Stock brick and stucco. Three storeys and basement. Each house 3 windows
wide including recessed bay linking with adjacent houses. Stucco to ground floor and
basement. Round headed windows with architraves and archivolt bands to ground floor.
Stone balconies with low cast iron trellis balustrades. Cornice over ground floor.
First and top storey windows architraved and corniced. Cill bands to top storey.
Modillioned cornice to blocking course. Porches to outer bays, approached by steps.
Round headed panelled doors. No 46 cornice altered. Forms part of unified scheme with
Nos 1-24 and 47-54 inclusive.
