Pair of houses, probably mid C18. Finely dressed stone with rubble overbuilt
from earlier building to east front which is 2 storeys and has quoins, 3 bays of
flat-faced mullioned windows of 3 lights with 2-light over; 5-light with same
over, 3-light with 5-light over. Some mullions removed. This elevation
overlooks Heptonstall Methodist Church and is prominently sited. Rear has
doorways to each house with tie-stone jambs. One other to centre is blocked.
