C18 house with reset datestone "1591". Coursed stone rubble. Collyweston
stone roof with gabled ends. Two storeys and attic. Three bays. C19 three-light
sashes centre first floor modern casement. Central pilastered doorway with
rectangular fanlight and pediment, and 6-panel door. Three hipped dormers
with casements. Internal chimney stack at each end. Modern brick wing at
rear. Interior: plain open-well staircase with square stack. Balusters and
moulded handrail. Fielded panel doors and blind cases.
The datestone may have come from the former rectory which was destroyed by
fire.
