Servant's block. This a long detached rectangular block to the east of the house
and was presumably built contemporaneously with or soon after the Duke of
Somerset's rebuilding of the house, ie in the early C18. It contains the Offices
and is connected with the house by an underground passage. Two storeys. Thirteen
windows. Ashlar. Moulded eaves cornice and blocking course. Hipped roof of
Horsham slabs. Glazing bars intact. Doorway in the centre in moulded architrave
surround with rectangular fanlight within this and pediment over.
