C14 hall house with later floor inserted and with gabled crosswings. Coursed
stone rubble with steeply pitched Collyweston roof. H-shaped on plan with
C18 infill between the wings, with moulded parapet and centre break and a
wide, single storey, porch also with centre break. Two storeys and attic.
Five window range. Sashes with glazing bars in the wings, the ground floor
in moulded architraves with keyblocks, the rest are small modern sashes and
French doors to balcony over porch. Two hipped dormers. Ashlar chimney stacks
with cornices, on the ridge and over the gables.
North side has 2 tall C19 Gothic windows and C13 type gabled porch in ashlar,
with moulded pointed arch. Early C19 ashlar bow window on east side.
Interior arch braced roof with cusped wind braces visible in the attic. Interior
is largely C18/19.
