Farmhouse. C17, but with medieval origins. Ham stone, part ashlar, part cut and squared; double Roman clay tiled roof
between stepped coped gables; stone chimney stacks. Two storeys with attic, 4 bays, of which bay 1 is of different
build. To bay 1, hollow-chamfer mullioned windows; 3-light above and 2-light below, the latter with square label; to
bay 2 ovolo-mould windows, 3- light above and 4-light below; to bay 3 a 2-light hollow-chamfer window above, with
label, and a wave and ovolo-mould cambered-arched doorway under deep lintol, with small leaded light to upper left; to
bay 4 are 3-light hollow-chamfer mullioned windows with labels; coped gables with gabletted finials over bays 2 and 4.
In north gable are three 2- light mullioned windows with labels, that to first floor ovolo-mould. Outshut and
projection to rear under shallow pitched Welsh slate roof. Interior not seen, but reported is a 16-panel moulded beam
ceiling to north room, with cambered arched fireplace; plan much altered; roof has been lifted in part, but some of the
earlier frame survived including a smoke- blackened true cruck truss and an unblackened jointed cruck. (VAG Report, SRO
