House and barn. C17 or early C18 with later alterations. Painted stone rubble
with slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. South-west facade has 3-light
single-chamfered-mullioned windows to 1st bay; 2nd bay has window with
small-paned fixed glazing with opening pane; 3rd bay has sashed windows with
vertical glazing bars. Central entrance has gabled slate canopy. Gable-end
stack and cross-axial stack. Barn to right has partly remaining dripcourse over
cow-house entrance and 2 windows. Lean-to outhouse to left return. Rear has
irregular fenestration; 1st bay has sashed windows with vertical glazing bars
and horns; 2nd and 3rd bays have wooden chamfered-mullioned windows, of 2 lights
to ground floor and of 3 lights to 1st floor; recessed entrance. Barn to left
has entrance up ramp, raised above eaves with raking roof. Ground floor has
2 entrances flanking window to right of ramp; 1st floor has 3 windows; some
slated lintels.
