Farmhouse. Probably C17, extended in C18 and c1950. Rubble, roughcast;
slate roof, end stacks to left and to rear extension. Two cell plan. One
storey and attic, 2 windows, irregular fenestration: C19 2-light casements
to left, 2 metal C20 casements in gabled dormers, entrance by glazed C20 door
under right hand dormer. Stable or cow house extension, probably C18 to
right with ledged C19 door to front and pitching hole to gable end. c1950
extension to left hand side. C18 single storey extension to rear with external
end stack and decorated brick shaft. Interior: plank and muntin screen divides
2 cells, principal room to left has large fireplace under massive oak lintol,
newel rubble stair to left of fireplace. Longitudinal plank and muntin screen
divides other cell into 2 unequal rooms. Upper rooms divided by truss having
collar supported by 2 vertical posts between which is doorway. C18 rear
extension has low raking strut truss.
