House. Dated 1722 on N wall. Painted brick and tiled roof with
stone slate verges. Double-depth plan. Early C19 extension is
now No.11 (qv).
2 storeys and attic; 2-window range, 3-window range to New
Street. Gabled front has mid C20 rebuilt former shop front
with shallow bowed windows with glazing bars and fascia,
rebuilt in early C19 style; gauged brick segmental arches over
first-floor 9/9-pane and single 3/3-pane attic sashes.
17/IM/22 inscribed on a brick. Similar windows to 3-window
left-hand return.
INTERIOR: reported to be altered, but containing a wide
fireplace, and some fielded panelling.
Formerly with 2 shop fronts to New Street and a large rear
gable stack.
