Part of fabric said to date from C14 but now mainly C16/C17 with later alterations.
Two storeys in red brick on a foundation of Malvern stone, asbestos tile roof.
Moulded gable at one end with brick coping and exposed chimney breast with
tall brick stack. Central curved attic gable to the west elevation with leaded
small-paned casement window. The older portion of the house has 3 windows,
the left, hipped, end of the house is later. Irregular windows, some bricked
up, most hung sashes with glazing bars, flush frames. One leaded casement
window of 2-lights with moulded wood mullions. Canted bay with glazing bars
to ground floors. Interior has well-type C17 staircase with flat-section balusters.
House includes C19 double oast house, square sections, cowls, to rear, slate
roofs. Surrounded on all sides by a wet moat.
