7/110 Woodhouse Hall

House. Late C17 with early C19 extensions and alterations.
Coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and quoins, but in the main
roughcast. Tiled roof with stone coped gables and kneelers, with
single finial to right projecting gable. Raised eaves band. Left
gable, 2 ridge and single rear, dressed coursed rubble stacks,
all with Tudor style shafts. 2 storeys, plus garret, 4 bays.
The right C19 single bay projects and is gabled. Doorway with
panelled door and chamfered stone surround, flanked by single
marginal lights with lozenge shaped panes. All set in slightly
projecting painted stone surround, apart from single roughcast
panels under the lights. To the left are 2 glazing bar 3 light
casements, each with similar glazing pattern. To the right is a
single similar 3 light casement. The left/west wall of the
projecting bay has a single, similar, single light casement.
Above are 4 similar 2 light casements. All windows have painted
stone mullions, ashlar surrounds and drip moulds. In the apex of
the projecting gable is a narrow rectangular opening with flush
ashlar surround. To the left, set back, is a single storey,
single bay wing. Roughcast with ashlar coped parapet and doorway
with panelled door and painted lintel. The east front has 3
similar 3 light casements and 3 similar 2 light casements above.
All with ashlar surrounds and drip moulds.
