Late C16 house, timber framed and plastered, 2 storeys with red plain tile roof.
Rectangular plan, 3 bays and chimney bay with later wing at rear. Three window
range, casements with leaded lights some of which are C17. Mid C19 porch with
pediment, columns and "Gothic" lancet headed side lights. Modern weatherboarding
to south gable. Original frame remains internally with stop-chamfered beams
and cambered tie beams. Moated site.
