C16 house. Timber-framed and plastered, of 2 storeys with attics; roof ridged,
gabled and peg-tiled. C17 porch of timber on south front. Stairs-wing of red
brick projects north on plan; and contains a dog-leg stairs with carved newels
and turned balusters - among the finest examples of their kind. The stair tower
has casement windows now renewed, beneath moulded labels. Three chimney-stacks
of red brick, with octagonal shafts. Front windows sets of 3 casements with
2 mullions and one transom.
Inside: carved oak ceiling cornices.
