House. Now 2 dwellings. Initialled and dated "P C".
TM 1696
Hammer-dressed stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3-cell, direct-entry
plan with single-storey outshut to rear. Quoins. All are double-chamfered
mullioned windows: those to ground floor have hoodmoulds with decorative
stops; those to 1st floor have almost square reveals. 1st cell has 3-light
windows to each floor. 2nd cell has 8-light window with king-mullion and
4-light window above; doorway, with composite jambs and Tudor-arched lintel
with decorative date inscription, has chamfered surround. Above is small
circular chamfered window. 3rd cell (No. 5) has inserted doorway with
monolithic jambs and 4-light windows with 5-light window above. Coped gable
to left with shaped kneeler. 2 stacks to ridge. Rear has 3-light and 2-
light chamfered mullioned window to 1st floor of 3rd cell. Outshut has
doorway with tie-stone jambs and chamfered surround set in side wall, and
3-light chamfered mullioned window to left of small chamfered light. Left
hand return wall has 5-light double-chamfered mullioned window and hoodmould
with heart-shaped stop. 3-light windows above.

Interior: housebody has stop-chamfered spine beams and original oak-
panelled cupboard
