House. Late C16 or early C17 with heavy later C19 alterations. Timber-framed
to left with painted brick ground-floor and tile-hung first-floor, fish-scale
to front. Red brick at right-hand end. Plain tiled roof, hipped
with gablet at left end with gabled cross-wing to rear, at steeper pitch than
roof to right. Left end stack and right ridge stack. One bay of late C16 or
early C17 frame survives. 2 storeys; irregular fenestration on both floors,
casements. 2 storey gabled square bay in centre with knotched barge-boards.
Single storey C20 agglomerations to right of centre, including porch. Interior:
substantial evidence remains of framed bay, with exposed posts, joists and beams
and cambered tie-beam on first-floor. Simple L-plan, wooden stair, possibly
C18 in date.
