Includes No 21 Goldsmith Street. Originally designed by George Dymond, completed
by Charles Fowler 1838. Long front faced with Bath stone. Central Greek Doric
portico with pediment. Two subsidiary porticos, that on right hand side leading
to Civic Hall. Queen Street shop fronts were inserted later C19. Plainer frontage
to Goldsmith Street has pediment and portico with unfluted Doric columns. Interior
of main Hall has segmental ceiling, clerestory, and granite piers to aisles.
Nos 2 to 14 (consec) form a group.
