Three 3 storey 3 window red brick terrace houses, circa 1805. Found-headed ground
floor windows with recessed arcading. Patent stone imposts, bands, cornices and
doorways, the last of the standard Colleton Crescent type. Vermiculated Gibbs
surrounds to the doors. Sash windows with glazing bars. Good lead downpipes.
Modillion eaves cornice, roof not visible. No 9 has a modern top storey. Nos 5
and 7 are occupied as offices by Kennaway and Co and others, the doorway to No
7 being blocked. C18 panelling and staircase. C19 office interior with panelling
and the original furniture. Adjoining No 9 is a stone post inscribed: "Palace
Gate removed 1812".
