Formerly known as Pesthouse Farm. C16, red brick in front of later date,
as well as recent restoration. Original brickwork on one gable end wall
remains. The original construction still shows at the rear where the timber-framed
and plastered face lined out in panels as it was. 2 storeys, plain tiles,
brick plinth and remains of brick band on end wall. Flush frame windows,
1 sash and 1 casement at each floor, north. The building was used as a small-pox
isolation hospital many years ago, hence the former name.
