Farmhouse. C17 core with additions to left of C18 and C19. Rubble
stone, double Roman tile roof, brick end stacks. Single range.
Oldest and main section 2 storeys and attic, with 2 windows, small
2-light with wood lintel to left, and 3-light stone mullion with
square hoodmould and concrete lintel to right. Roof level has been
slightly raised at eaves, and outside ground level has also
probably been raised. Plank door to left now to cellar was
probably original main entrance, and has remains of a 2-light stone
mullion with square hoodmould at cellar level on the right. Main
entrance now to left is C18 addition with C20 door and round-headed
surround made of shells impressed into render. 3-light casement
over. Further left is single storey C19 wing with one C20 2-light
window. Main range said to have been registered for divine
service.
