House, now with shop on ground floor. C17. Timber-framed,
stucco facing, old tiled roof, gable facing street.
3 storeys. One flush-set sash window with divided glazing on
first and second floors. Ground floor has C19 shop window,
with stucco stallriser, timber-framed and mullioned plate
glass display windows. Ornate stucco foliated stucco console
at right hand side, and fascia, with moulded blind box cover
above, serving as cornice, probably beneath earlier jettied
front. Left hand corner, shopfront returned to main frontage,
forming a side window, and narrow gap, occupied by setback
construction of shopfront, indicating encroachment on former
twitchell or alley. North elevation faces East Street.
Stuccoed, with small modern entrance door on ground floor.
Small modern casement window in attic gable.
