Terraced public house. c1860-70. Stucco, slate roof. Eclectic public house
Italianate. 4 storeys. 2 windows wide. Ground floor has panelled and glazed
doors flanking broad semicircular arched bar windows, in a Venetian composition
with dividing piers and enriched oculi over-doors; framing ornamented pilasters
support consoles at ends of fascia, the cornice over acting as 1st floor sill
course. 1st floor sash windows in eaved architraves with segmental heads,
centre one with mask and pendant; 2nd floor windows architraved with cornices
and pediment over centre window. Dentil cornice with paired terminal consoles
beneath attic storey which has semicircular arched architraved windows;
panelled quoin pilasters and crowning moulded cornice with blocking course
raised over centre.
