This is probably an early C19 building sited rather as a landmark. Octagonal.
Faced with flints with dressings and quoins of red brick and grey headers.
Coved eaves cornice. Slate roof with octagonal wooden cupola at the apex
orming the birds' entrance. Each side has an imitation pointed window which
is blocked and a similar quatrefoil over. Pointed doorway. Retains its nesting
boxes.
