Terrace of houses. Circa 1860-70. Stucco. Slate mansards. Almost symmetrical
composition. 4 storeys, attic, attic mansard and basement. Each house 3 windows
wide. Channelling to ground floor. Centre house and end houses set forward
slightly with rusticated quoins. Slightly projecting solid-sided Doric porches
with square piers, except for centre house; with.3-bay Doric colonnade. Canted
ground floor bay windows. First floor balustraded balcony. Roundheaded windows
to first floor, except to centre and end houses where square-headed within
segmental bow windows. Architraves to windows above ground floor, square-headed
above first floor. Sashes, plate glass. Cornices between storeys incorporating
pediment to second floor windows. Rich console cornice above third floor,
subsidiary cornice to attic. Centre and end houses with arched attic windows.
Centre house with segmental attic pediment. Cast iron area railings.
