C15 hall and cross wing plan with late C16 or early C17 alterations. Timber
frame with plaster and red brick infil. Old tile roof, large brick chimney
stack. Two storeys, gable on left with timber framing tiled pentice over 3-light
casement, gabled dormer on right, low plain door below with small modern window
on right. Modern flat roofed 1-storey shop addition on left.
Rear elevation has timber framed gable on left, C15 4-light timber mullioned
window on left with tracery to top of each light. Interior: fine arch braced
hall truss visible on first floor, moulded beam above staircase. Traceried
openings to side of staircase. Original floor in wing. C16 inglenook and
fireplace to first floor.
