The United Reformed Church

Dated 1881. Architect Thomas Elworthy of St Leonards. Rich and fruity example of a
Non-Conformist church in classical style. 2 storeys. 4 windows. Red brick with
stone cornice above each floor, parapet and doorway. Brick pilasters flank the
front. Brick pediment within the parapet. Round-headed casement windows with semi-
circular fanlights. Enriched doorway with pilasters, projecting cornice surmounted
by urns, semi-circular fanlight and double doors of 6 moulded panels.
