C14 timber-framed building of Wealden type, altered in the C16. Plaster infilling.
Recessed centre with curved braces supporting the coved eaves. Projecting wings
which originally oversailed on the first floor but have been underbuilt in painted brick,
the south wing tile-hung painted on first floor. Steeply-pitched hipped tiled roof.
Casement windows. At the north end a portion has been built out on ground floor as
a shop, though not now used as such. Crown-post roof inside the building.
